BWADC Activity in Water Production and Distribution

Water total production during the financial year 2005-2006 is 258 million m3/ year  produced as follows:-  8 Main Plants    Producing 187 million m3/year   37 Compact Units             Producing 32 million m3/year

BWADC has 37 compact units to improve the service of supplying potable water. These units are considered to be temporary units until getting rid of executing the extensions of the current plants and the execution of  the new plants and installing the networks. 126 wells (work) Producing 39 million m3/year The population in Southern Beheira are supplied with ground water from more than 126 wells. These wells produce 39 million m3/year (in addition to the surface water in these areas) and serve more than million Capita in Kom Hamada, Itay Albaroud, Dillingat, Wadi Al-Natroun and South of Tahrir.
